Wendy first discovered yoga in 1995 at Yogaworks in Santa Monica and yoga instantly became her favorite four letter word. As once you have found yoga you have a gift you can always give yourself of harmonizing your body and mind. She received her 230 hour RYT with a one year program from the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She is currently part of the Rod Stryker training and has completed an additional 40 hour section of his Parayoga Master Training as well as several workshops through Yogaworks. She is also a member of the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association. Believing that being a continual student is essential to teaching effectively she continues her own practice with her tribe of teachers and is most influenced by Amy Annis, Kathryn Budig, Kia Miller and Bryan Kest.
No matter your level you will be welcomed with open arms to come and explore the linking of breath with movement in her vinyasa flow style class hopefully discovering for yourself how practicing yoga is all about putting a smile on your face while strengthening your body and calming your mind. She will encourage you to explore your personal edge with strength and grace in a way that allows you to leave class feeling energetic, clear and connected. So come discover the positive “off the mat” ripple effects a yoga practice creates. Her classes always focus on enjoying the transitions incorporating her mantra of “The Journey is the Destination”.
PowerFlow 212° – This yoga class is not heated however by the end of class you will swear it is. Move in a faster paced Vinyasa Flow set to current music. Powerflow 212° gives you a great work out while offering a work in as well.
