After 8 years of foster care and in home daycare, Emily Balow discovered her love for fitness in her spare time.  Stumbling upon Dragonfly was unplanned but not regretted and the best career decision she has ever made. Emily is fun and motivating. Join one of her low pressure, anything goes classes, you won’t regret it.

Zumba is a Latin based, shake your booty aerobic workout, that everyone must try ! This is the most fun you will ever have getting in shape no matter what your level of dance is. Shake your way to better health, more energy and a smaller dress size.

Circuits is a higher intensity class that you can ease into. You will be introduced to weights, cardio, plyometrics and calisthenics.  Don’t be intimidated! You’ll love the results

Hip Hop Fit is Emily’s creation of today’s hits with choreographed toning songs.  Less dancing, more toning!

Cindy, Krista, & Dana – American Tribal Style® Belly Dancing

Wednesdays Level 1 5:30pm-6:20pm l Advanced levels 6:30pm-8:30pm

Level 1 (beginner) American Tribal Style® (ATS®) belly dance runs consecutively every 8 weeks for 50 minutes weekly, year round. Full payment of $10/class (total $80) due on first class. Contact Dana for the next scheduled session.

Advanced ATS® Belly Dance – Level 2 & 3 (upon Instructor invite post Level 1 or 2 respectively) runs consecutively every 16 week, 50 minute sessions each, year round. Monthly payments give you access to all classes on Wednesday nights as follows: $40 for 3 + classes, $25 for 2 classes, or $15 per nightly drop in.

Building this dance from within, each student is empowered through a unique teaching style honoring a multitude of connections, encouraging camaraderie, and exploring how ATS® fits on every woman, from the young to the young at heart!

I have been dancing since the age of 2. I have taught dance fitness classes for about 6.5 years.  I live in chippewa falls with my husband and 3 kiddos.

Dancing is a huge passion of mine and I love sharing it with others.

In my spare time i enjoy running, currently training for another full marathon!!!

Certified AMPD Kettlebell instructor, Kimberley Winkelmann has had a passion for fitness most of her life. Growing up, and through her 20’s and 30’s, most of her physical activities consisted of running. A few years ago, she felt that she was no longer managing to make any progress towards her fitness goals. She was introduced to the Fast Fit program at Dragonfly Dance and Wellness by a friend. This program was the stepping stone that she needed.

Kim still runs upon occasion, but also enjoys Circuit Training, Cross-fit, Boot Camp, and especially Kettlebell. Kim works at a local elementary school and is currently pursuing her AFAA Group Exercise Fitness Instructor Certification. In her free time enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

– Kettlebell AMPD takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 45 minutes of calorie-torching fun! This whole-body workout emphasizes group fitness and focuses on specific areas such as arms, legs, core, and cardio. Each song concentrates on a main area, while still maintaining a whole-body routine.

I started yoga in the summer of 2015 and fell in love with yoga ever since. I began the 200 hour YTT in the fall of 2016 and I am working on my certification to complete the 200 hour level. I went to Yoga North Duluth: International SomaYoga Therapy for school and I’ve loved traveling back and forth from Eau Claire to Duluth, the views are incredible! I teach the integration of mobility, stability and strength to create a class that suits every walk of life. I focus on mental and body meditation and exploration of self. I look forward to exploring with you!

Missy started her fitness journey eight years ago after giving birth to her second child. After she took her first Zumba class she fell in love and decided to get certified to teach it adding both Zumba Gold and Aqua Zumba shortly after. Missy is also a NETA Certified Personal Trainer, an ACE Certified Health Coach, Kettlebell AMPD Instructor, and is currently working on her Mind/Body Certification through ACE as well.

Michelle isn’t new to Dragonfly, she has been with us since the beginning (August 2013).

Michelle Anthony draws from her years of experience in teaching yoga, Acro, and Aerials to bring you a safe and informed approach to pole classes. She is an expert in guiding students to move beyond their comfort zones and explore what is possible with the right amount of preparation and support. Michelle will encourage you to explore the depths of your authentic and sexy self through integrative pole classes.

Meet Kerri!

Kerri has been an integral part of the Chippewa Valley flow arts scene as a founding member of the Torch Sisters, a local performance troupe. Kerri enjoys teaching and performing Acro yoga, hooping, aerials and most recently pole! Kerri will encourage you to try new things and feel sexy in your own skin while having fun and building some super-rad, gorgeous biceps.

Rachel Duffenbach is passionate about health, fitness, and body positivity. Rachel has been performing with local performance troupe, the Torch Sisters, for a year. When she isn’t working her full-time office job, she loves to spend her free time hooping, practicing yoga, acro, and aerials. She truly believes that pole dancing will make you fall in love with what your body is capable of and she can’t wait to see you in class!

Stephanie got addicted to TurboKick classes in college back in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. When she moved to Eau Claire and had trouble finding Turbo classes she decided to get certified and share the Turbo love with her friends here.

Get hooked on the Turbo high! With cardio kickboxing and body-sculpting dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes, you’ll get lean and toned—and have a blast doing it! It’s high intensity offered with options for low-impact, so no matter your fitness level, Turbo is fast-paced, and totally addicting!
